Community Markets
Community Markets are held the second Saturday of February to November with a twilight market held on the first Saturday in conjunction with the Christmas Pageant.

Venue Hire

* Community groups and organisations, not-for-profit and Incorporated bodies, may be eligible for a BHCI fee subsidy. Please enquire at time of booking. All fees include GST.

  • Park View Room

The Park View Room (Function Room) seats 80-100 people in a theatre style setting or 60-70 people in an Ampitheatre setting.
$30 per hour fees incl GST)

  • Training Room

The Training Room seats up to 16 people.
$15 per hour (incl GST)

 

  • Green Room

The room seats between 18-20 people. Not available between 10.00am - 2.00pm Tuesday and Wednesday each week.

$15 per hour (incl GST) 

 

  • Kitchen

Where a group or organisation is undertaking their own catering the fees are:
$55 (incl GST) - to prepare food for serving.
$110 (inc GST) - full use of all facilities the kitchen offers, eg use of oven for cooking or heating food etc.

 

  • Crockery

A setting for 45 people is available for hire, if required.  A deposit of $100 is required and provided there are no breakages, $75 will be refunded.

  • Catering

Catering can be undertaken by the Centre for Community should the hirer require morning tea, lunch and or afternoon tea. A menu is available on request, giving a selection of menus and costs.

 

  • Equipment

Overhead projector and screen, TV and DVD/Video player, Whiteboard are available free of charge. The Internet is available for a small fee.

 

Private Functions

The fee for holding a private function such as a wedding or birthday celebration is $300 (incl GST) which covers the use of the Park View Room and Kitchen.  An additional $150 is requried to be lodged at the same time and will be held by the Centre and provided the venue is cleaned after the event to the Centre's standard $125 will be refunded and $25 will be retained by the Centre for cleaning materials.
