About Us
The 5 objectives of Broken Hill Community Inc. are:
- Manage the Centre for Community – Outback NSW (and its various operations) for the benefit of the communities in Broken Hill and the Far West.
- Promote, co-ordinate and optimise social welfare research and planning in Broken Hill and surrounding districts.
- Bring people together to help them develop creative solutions to problems they have identified.
- Support projects that contribute to the elimination of poverty and distress, and improve social conditions in the community.
- Advocate, in partnership with community groups, government, business and social service organisations, at local, state and national levels.
